Is a front-load washer worth repairing, or should I replace it?
Depends on the part and the age. Pumps, boots, door locks, and shocks are common wear items and usually sensible fixes. If the tub bearing and outer drum are both gone on an older unit, we'll say so plainly so you can decide.
Why does my washer stop mid-cycle and beep?
Most often it can't finish a step. Not draining fast enough, not sensing the lock, or not balancing the load. The control halts and flags a code. We read that code, then verify the part behind it instead of guessing.
Can you work on a stacked washer and dryer in a closet?
